This week, Google announced a new android app and it's called Voice Search. Make phone calls, reminder e-mails, and music searches by simply voice commanding at your Android phone (no fingers necessary!).

Pros:

NFB (National Film Board) has a FREE app on the Apple iPhone and iPad. This means you can watch over 1000 videos, varying from documentaries to animations, all in the palm of your hands. 

Pros:

The iPad has revolutionized the magazine industry...for the better (don't you think?). Even Condé Nast's magazine Wired reported that the sales of their iPad edition exceeded its print edition. 

Now, how about an iPad app that turns your social content into a magazine? Ta-dah, it's called the Flipboard. The online community is raving about this new social magazine app as a MUST on your iPad download list. The best part of it is that it's free (...for now).

Flipboard collects articles from your Twitter and Facebook accounts to create a one-of-a-kind social magazine just for you. For example, all the articles you and your friends 'Like' on Facebook or the re-tweets on Twitter will be compiled into a magazine layout.  Each Flipboard account is customizable to the reader's liking. Changes in content will reflect real-time feeds. Flipboard's next mission is to add feeds from Flickr and LinkedIn... stay tuned!
