Last year Globalive was one of a number of companies who purchased wireless spectrum from a government auction, leading up to a move to become a competitor for the dominant three wireless providers in Canada - Telus, Rogers, and Bell.

Globalive, a Toronto-based company announced that it will sell its wireless services under the brand Wind, an established and growing brand prominent in Greece and Italy at the moment.

As if traditional print media needed help imploding, several newspapers recently reported a "story" about the allergy-causing  effects of WiFi waves on the public.

That's right - The Sun and The Telegraph in the UK originally reported the "medical issue", while Fox News in the US also decided to run with the new found scientific "facts".
