As computers and laptops are becoming staples in the household, it’s no wonder Je Sung Park decided to create an environmentally-friendly laptop to help reduce toxic waste. Theoretically, the Recyclable Paper Laptop is made up of pulp and reprocessed materials that would eventually be broken down into compost.

Toshiba Reveals The Libretto W100 (VIDEO)

It seems that everyone wants in on the touch screen market, but a new product from Toshiba raises the bar. For their 25th anniversary, Toshiba is coming out with the special edition Libretto W100, a concept netbook with a twist.

It comes with two multi-touch 7-inch 1024 x 600 displays. Kind of like a Nintendo DS on steroids. Externally, its innovative 1.5lbs clamshell design and small structure makes it compact and durable; Internally, it's driven by an energy efficent 1.2 Intel Pentium U5400 processor, 2GB of RAM, Windows 7 OS, and a battery that provides up to five hours of usage.

Intel’s new Atom CPUs to bring thinner netbooks and laptops (VIDEO)

Move aside, MacBook Air, "Canoe Lake" is the new thin in town – even if it's just a prototype.

At just 0.5", Intel created an in-house Canoe Lake platform to show PC makers that they, too, can also create ultra thin mobile computers with Intel’s latest Atom dual-core microprocessors.

On Monday, Intel announced its latest additions to the Atom processor family: "Pine Trail" mobile dual-core processor, and the "Oak Trail" processor for tablets and thin netbooks. The Atom processors promise to offer better user experience without compromising battery life.
