Windows 7 to Launch October 22
By Eddy Wedlund on Jun 10, 2009 at 3:11 PM
Microsoft has confirmed that October 22nd, 2009 will be the full retail launch date for Windows 7, the much anticipated successor to Windows Vista.
The October date means the premiere life span for Vista will be a little under 3 years, relatively short, when compared to the 5 years that Windows XP was the flagship OS.
If you want to try Windows 7 now, you can still download the Release Candidate on the Microsoft website.
