Following the 25th Anniversary of Sony's Handycam product line, they have announced their newest product, the NEX-VG10. It's the world’s first consumer camcorder with interchangeable lenses.
Able to capture full 1920x1080 HD video at up to 24Mbps and a Quad Capsule Spatial Array Stereo Microphone (which means: four microphones are combined to make a stereo mix), making it ideal for video enthusiasts and photographers.
It comes equipped with a 3.0” LCD with sharp 921,000 dot resolution, a Sony 18-200mm lens, a Memory Stick PRO Duo and SD Card reader for memory, and the ability to record up to 4 hours of HD footage (1920x1080, FH mode) on a 32GB memory card.
This camcorder ships in September and will be available with an initial price of $2,000.
