Office 2010: The Movie Trailer
By Geoff Gauthier on Jul 9, 2009 at 10:34 AM
Yes, this is for real.
Shot like an action movie trailer, Microsoft unveiled the short video this morning on a website dedicated to the promotion of Office 2010.
While the trailer itself is well-shot, slick, and visually captivating it is filled with bad Office-related puns like "you'd better watch your margins," "copy and paste that, over" and "cc you later," which made at least one person in our office laugh.
This trailer is high-budget, somewhat funny, but I felt a little embarrassed watching it as the dorky actors rattled off the cheesy one-liners.
All personal feelings aside, this video looks like it's going to be a hit for Microsoft as they build up to the release of Office 2010.

WHEN DOES THIS COME OUT?
Hi Josh,
Keep checking back at the movie site for future updates.
As for Office 2010 (a.k.a. Office 14), it's due out in the first half of, you guessed it, 2010.
Public beta versions have been hinted at for release closer to the end of 2009, but your guess is as good as mine as to how you can get a copy for yourself.
