Make Your Own iPhone App

If you want to make your very own iPhone app and capitalize on the mulit-billion-dollar industry that is apps, then you might want to head over to the University of Saskatchewan.
The university is offering the full-credit course to any students who are interested in learning how to create an app. The course was developed by Chad Jones, a former apple employee, now working at the university.
The course starts by teaching you the basics of app design and then for your final project you create an app. I think this is a great example of a post-secondary institution listening to trends and responding quickly. Only two or three years ago, barely a soul knew anything about apps really, and now we are teaching development in school.
It’s an exciting time for students at the University of Saskatchewan.
