Android has Finally Arrived in Canada

It's been almost 4 years since Google acquired Android Inc, a little known company that developed mobile phone software, and from day one, rumours were everywhere that Google would be releasing a "Google Phone".
When all the details actually came out, Android ended up being an open-source operating system, that is pushed forward by a consortium of mobile device manufacturers, including, HTC, LG, Samsung, Motorola and Texas Instruments.
The OS made its debut in the fall of 2008 on the HTC Dream (marketed as the T-Mobile G1 on their network) in the states. The Dream has since sold more than 1 million units across the states, and expanded across Europe.
Well, today sees Rogers release the HTC Dream here in Canada, as well as the HTC Magic (another Android phone which has yet to be released on T-Mobile). And so you have the arrival of the much anticipated Android.
If you are interested in more info on the HTC Dream or Magic, you can visit the Rogers website, where they list plans, phone purchase details, and all the fun features of the phones.
